Apple announces surprise departure of two senior executives


The Californian company Apple announced a restructuring of its executive leadership, including the cessation of who was in charge of developing the operating system i OS mobile devices and the network responsible for their physical stores. The technological informed through a statement whose owner, Apple announces changes to increase collaboration between hardware, software and services, hiding the biggest adjustment of directors since Tim Cook replaced Steve Jobs as CEO of the company for just over a year.

In the new management structure, Jonathan Ive (Industrial Design), Bob Mansfield (formerly Future Products), Eddy Cue (Software and Services) and Craig Federighi (Software Engineering) "more responsibilities added to their positions."

Scott Forstall cease to have control over the iOS department for a post of adviser Tim Cook provisionally and leave the company in 2013. Forstall was one of the supervisors of the new mapping application from Apple that was widely criticized and led Cook to have to apologize for presenting a product below the expected quality. Several U.S. media echoed that Forstall was a "wannabe CEO" and had had his disagreements with Cook over the past months.
