Nintendo and EA sign agreement on Origin and Wii U















Electronic Arts officially that will collect information on its database Origin by those who play online with Nintendo Wii U. It is learned from the document on EA's Privacy Policy, which has been updated in this way: "The information on your Nintendo account will be provided to EA in order to create an Origin Account for you."

"You have an Origin Account to play EA titles online," continues the document. From the perspective of EA, the collection of data is used to draw a frame of reference for the user U Wii.
"If you play online with EA titles agrees to transfer some user account information to EA. 

Information transferred to EA includes your profile details Miis, e-mail, the Nintendo Network ID, list of friends, the country , language and date of birth. shall not be transferred more detail on credit cards or other financial information. "
 
Patrick Soderlund, vice president of EA Games, has previously said that he wanted a relationship like this with the console manufacturers, which would allow game makers to offer services with greater freedom and better address the needs of the players.
 
"If you look five years ago, the video game industry today takes on a completely different connotations in the way we interact with entertainment content and the way in which people are connected," said Soderlund. "We have to take account of these changes, rather than being afraid."
 
Nintendo had previously mentioned that the Wii U's online platform will be open to third parties, who have the opportunity to host their services.
