A new screenwriter for the film of Mass Effect

Legendary Entertainment, the study involved in the film adaptation of Mass Effect, announced a change of helm for the screenplay. According to some rumors recently published by Variety, Mark Protosevich (formerly engaged on Thor and I Am Legend) has left the place in Morgan Davis Foehl.

The curriculum of this new entry will certainly not a miracle fans of the saga created by BioWare. In the past Foehl participated in the work of 'Rescue Me', in which he played the role of assistant editor, as well as taking part in some comedies with Adam Sandler. including 'Change your life with a click' and 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and ... husband '.

His screenplay known as 'Whatever Gets You Through the Night' is considered one of the worst ever proposed in 2009. In short, according to the assumptions seems reasonable to raise some doubts about this decision. It also appears that Foehl has been chosen for the passion he has towards the entire saga.

Legendary Pictures has acquired the rights for the film in 2010, while Avi and Ari Arad - already engaged in working on the Uncharted film - were taken into account as producers. During the month of August, Avi Arad also announced a future film about Metal Gear, which, however, do not yet know any details.
